Why I’m losing hope for America

Penny Lane wrote a post about truth, facts and belief. She didn’t say any of the below, these are all my words.

A fact is gravity exists.

A truth is if you jump off a cliff, you will fall to the ground.

A belief is that you will fly.

We generally don’t believe in things that will kill us. We don’t believe we can fly.

So belief tends to be about concepts.

A fact is that Donald J Trump will be the next president of the US.
