Rich Lowry’s argument for Trump’s lawlessness

Rich Lowry was on the Brian Lehrer show on Wednesday to make the case for why Trump should not be impeached.

He had a couple of arguments against impeachment. One was that Democrats were rushing to impeach for something he didn’t think had enough evidence to actually impeach.

When Brian Lehrer pointed out that Democrats argue this is about a pattern of abuse of power, Lowry said that the guardrails of politics were “working” and used the recent pardons by President Trump as an example.
